Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Ingredients

• 1/4 c melted butter
• 1.5 c cookie crumbs (Oreo preferred)
• 24 oz softened cream cheese (3 pkgs)
• 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
• 3 eggs
• 2 tbsp vanilla
• 1 c mini chocolate chips
• 1 tsp flour

Process

• Crust
• Spray 9" spring-form pan with Pam
• Combine butter and cookie crumbs, press into bottom of pan
• Filling
• In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy, add sweetened condensed milk, and beat until smooth
• Add eggs and vanilla and mix well
• In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup chocolate chips with 1 tsp of flour, toss to coat. Stir into the cheese mix
• Pour mix over crust, sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over top
• Bake for 1 hour at 300°F, or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
• Let cake cool to room temperature, then chill until serving

Notes

• Source: Now... you're cooking!
• Jiggle the cheese cake after cooking to check how well it set (should have a small circle that's still soft in the middle)
• To prevent the top from cracking, cook with foil on top and a pan of water in the oven. Cool the cake slowly leaving the oven door open, then leaving rhe foil on top until ready to chill
